  • Stephen watches 14 to 16 hours of wrestling a week.
  • Stephen reads a ton of comics, mostly those people forget existed. He has a love of tertiary characters.
  • Stephen watches bad movies over good ones any chance he gets. He's analyzed the 1995 Mortal Kombat film more than is healthy.

Experience

As someone who has been putting words to pages for over a decade, Stephen has written for sites like Playboy, Paste, PC Gamer, Coming Soon, EGMNow, Space, and Polygon. After dabbling in fiction, he began to turn his love of video games, science fiction, comics, and binging television shows into thoughtful feature articles and detailed lists. His work has been published in books, magazines, and used for various YouTube channels. Wilds is always searching for new movies, shows, and obscure lost media to write about — anything that could use some light shed on it.

Education

Stephen's degree in English gave him the skills and tools for breaking down and analyzing story elements and character developments in movies and television. His film and rhetoric classes left him with an appreciation for over-dramatic features and cheesy sitcoms. He also has earned Associate degrees in Studio Art and Education, rounding out his approach to writing.
