Black Mirror Season 4 Gets Full Trailer, Premiere Date
Black Mirror season four is coming your way, and soon. Netflix revealed on Wednesday that the highly-anticipated upcoming season of the anthology show will hit the streaming service on Dec. 29, and they even shared a new trailer to help bring up the hype.
This trailer offers yet another look at the upcoming season, which has been teased thus far with individual trailers for each of the episodes. The new trailer includes looks at each of the season's six episodes, including the black-and-white episode "Metalhead," starring Maxine Peake, Jake Davies, and Clint Dyer; the space-set episode "USS Calister," starring Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti, and Jimmi Simpson; and the Jodie Foster-directed "Arkangel," starring Rosemarie Dewitt, Brenna Harding, and Owen Teague.
Although many of the glimpses we see in the new trailer have already been spotted before, intercutting them together helps to show the season's dark overarching theme, which seems as though it can be summed up in the opening quote: "Look around the world. Injustice, intolerance, and huge environmental challenges. It's hard to imagine a bright future, but we can. And we must."
Other episodes of Black Mirror's fourth season include "Crocodile," starring Kiran Sonia Sawar, Andrew Gower, and Andrea Riseborough; "Hang the DJ," starring Georgina Campbell, Joe Cole, and George Blagden; and "Black Museum," starring Letitia Wright, Douglas Hodge, Aldis Hodge, and Babs Olusanmokun. Toby Haynes, John Hillcoat, Tim Van Patten, David Slade, and Colm McCarthy take on directing duties alongside Foster.
