Channing Tatum Spins A Myth In Smallfoot Trailer
Yetis aren't so scary in the first trailer for Warner Bros. animated adventure Smallfoot—it's the teeny little humans that you've gotta watch out for.
Channing Tatum heads up an all-star cast in the upcoming feature, playing Migo, a big-hearted member of an isolated northern community of yetis.
In the trailer, which the actor revealed in an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Migo spins a story for a gang of yeti children about the nefarious, legendary Smallfoot—a tiny, hairless creature with a habit of poking its nose into places where it doesn't belong.
The trailer is more of a tease for the movie, not revealing many of the other players in the movie's cast, but it does provide a bit of comedy from LeBron James as the burly, purple Gwangi. James Corden also appears as Percy, the human adventurer and Smallfoot of the title.
In addition to Tatum, Corden, and James, the movie also will feature the voice talents of Danny DeVito as Dorgle, Gina Rodriguez as Kolka, Zendaya as Meechee, Common as Stonekeeper, Yara Shahidi as Brenda, Ely Henry as Fleem, and Jimmy Tatro as Thorp.
Smallfoot will be written and directed by Karey Kirkpatrick, who previously wrote and directed the animated movie Over the Hedge.
Smallfoot is set to fall into theaters on September 28, 2018. Check out a few of the first posters for the feature below.
