Superman Stands Beside The Justice League In New Set Photo
The League has truly united.
With just one week left until the official launch of the long-awaited Justice League, DC fans have been yearning for more shots of Henry Cavill's Superman, whose involvement in the forthcoming flick has evolved into something of a known fact despite his death at the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. DC and Warner Bros. have tried their very best to keep a tight lid on the character's presence, to little avail, and a brand-new behind-the-scenes photo seems to confirms that the hero will play a vital part in Justice League.
Courtesy of ComicBookMovie, the snap shows Cavill's Superman standing next to Gal Gadot's Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, who brushes shoulders with Jason Momoa's Arthur Curry/Aquaman. The photo was included in a bundle of shots taken from the Justice League set, originally included in Entertainment Weekly's newly released The Ultimate Guide to Justice League.
Available to purchase beginning today, the companion book also features Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne/Batman and Ray Fisher's pre-CGI Victor Stone/Cyborg, as well as candid shots of Diana interacting with Bruce. Those who scoop up the book will also get a history lesson in the world of Justice League from the page to the silver screen, and get a chance to read exclusive interviews with the film's cast.

The team at the center of Justice League are joined by a host of familiar faces (plus a few new ones), including Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Joe Morton as Silas Stone, Robin Wright as Antiope, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Amber Heard as Mera, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West.
Here's the full plot synopsis for Snyder's Justice League: "Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions."
Justice League will fly into theaters on November 17.
