Final Coco Trailer Teases Pixar's Next Masterpiece

Pixar is almost ready to unleash their next incredible film on the world. The studio released the final trailer Monday for the upcoming Coco, which follows 12-year-old Miguel (newcomer Anthony Gonzalez), a young boy from a shoemaker's family who dreams of becoming a musician like his idol, the late Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt), despite his family having banned music for generations.

As highlighted in the trailer, when Miguel goes to retrieve de la Cruz's guitar on Dia de los Muertos, he ends up transporting himself to the Land of the Dead, where he goes on an adventure to find out his real family history. This adventure is populated by not so spooky skeletons, who help Miguel learn how to rock out and be himself. However, he'll have to get home by sunrise, otherwise he could be stuck in the Land of the Dead forever.

Coco's all Latino voice cast also includes Gael Garcia Bernal, Renee Victor, Ana Ofelia Murguia, Jamie Camil, Sofia Espinosa, Luis Valdez, Lombardo Boyar, Alanna Ubach, Selene Luna, Alfonso Arau, Herbert Siguenza, Edward James Olmos, Cheech Marin, Gabriel Iglesias, and Octavio Solis. Adrian Moina (Monsters University) wrote and co-directed Coco with Toy Story 2's Lee Unkrich. The movie is set to hit theaters on Nov. 22.
