Trollhunters: Tales Of Arcadia Trailer Reveals New Adventure

Guillermo del Toro is taking a year off from directing, but that apparently won't affect the second season of his animated series Trollhunters.

Netflix released the first trailer for Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia, and it offers a look at the continued adventures of ordinary teen-turned-Trollunter Jim Lake Jr., voiced by the late Anton Yelchin. Best known for his work in the Star Trek movies, Yelchin had finished work on the first two seasons of Trollhunters before he was killed in a tragic accident in June 2016.

In the second installment of the saga, Jim continues to protect his hometown of Aracadia and the Troll world he inherited. His decision to enter the Darklands brings about some unexpected discoveries, which puts Jim and his friends in a race to finally end the battle against evil.

Kelsey Grammer won a Daytime Emmy for his performance as Blinky, and the cast also includes Anjelica Huston (The Addams Family) as Queen Ursurna, Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) as Steve, and Amy Landecker (Doctor Strange) as Barbara. This season also features the notable new additions of Star Wars icon Mark Hamill along with Lena Headey and David Bradley from Game of Thrones). 

Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia will hit Netflix on Dec. 15.
