Spider-Man Fans Sound Off On One Of Their Least Favorite Villains

Spider-Man is one of the most iconic superheroes of all time. His sense of humor and commitment to always doing the right thing is a refreshing mixture of personality traits. It's no wonder he's had a ton of different iterations over the years on the big screen, and everyone has a favorite version of the Web-Head.

Debates could last for hours on whether Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, or Tom Holland reigns supreme in the battle over ultimate Spider-Man supremacy. They all have their pros and cons working for them, but the truth of the matter is that a superhero can only be as good as his particular supervillain allows. And there have been some excellent baddies in "Spider-Man" movies over the years.

More debates could ensue surrounding Spider-Man's villains, and they have over on Reddit, where people have debated who their least favorite big-screen villain is. Everyone has an opinion, but it would appear one particular antagonist comes out on top (or perhaps bottom depending on how you're looking at it).

Rhino doesn't have many fans on Reddit

Redditor u/ThatOneBigfoot450 asked a simple question to their fellow Spider-Man fans, and that question was, "Who's your least favorite Spider-Man movie villain?" They offer two options for people to consider: Venom (Topher Grace) from "Spider-Man 3" and Rhino (Paul Giamatti) from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." A lot of people seemed to be in agreement with the latter option, and u/SpaceZombie13 even had an idea for why so many people don't really care for Giamatti's villain.

They stated, "also Rhino. and not cuz of paul. rhino as a whole just felt crammed in to be the 'bookend' character." "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" has a common issue in superhero films where there are simply too many bad guys, with there also being Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Green Goblin (Paul DeHaan) thrown into the mix. Rhino shows up in the very beginning, and then he comes back at the tail end with his new Rhino mech suit. He doesn't get much time to develop as a character, so it's no wonder fans tend to toss him to the wayside.

Den of Geek appears to agree with these fans, as the outlet listed Rhino as its worst "Spider-Man" movie villain of all time.
