Overwatch 2: How To Get The Legendary Medic Brigitte Skin
While still some months away, the release of "Overwatch 2" is still quickly approaching. The latest entry into Blizzard Entertainment's "Overwatch" series will be put to market as an early access title on October 22, 2022 and, in an unexpected move, Blizzard has already announced that cosmetics from the first "Overwatch" can be transferred to the upcoming sequel as the series moves away from a live-service model and will instead incorporate a battle pass. This has given the developer and publisher an opportunity to offer players new cosmetics in "Overwatch" that can later be transferred to "Overwatch 2" upon its release.
One of the first examples of these is the Legendary Medic skin for Brigitte. Done in partnership with popular streaming platform Twitch, the skin adorns Brigitte in a mostly white armor set, accented by red panels with medic logos on them. The skin is seemingly a reference to the character's passive ability, Inspire, which creates an aura around her that will heal her allies. Being a Legendary skin, Brigitte's Medic getup is sure to be of immense value and highly sought out by both dedicated "Overwatch" players and collectors of the rarest in-game items. If you want to unlock it, you have a very limited time to do so.
Overwatch players have three weeks to collect the Legendary Medic skin
An interesting caveat to the Legendary Medic Brigitte skin is that it is not something that can be earned by completing in-game challenges. Instead, due to it being a Twitch-sponsored promotion, the only way to unlock the skin is by watching live streams from a curated list of streamers provided by Blizzard Entertainment. The steps to unlocking the skins are to watch any of the listed eligible Twitch channels while they are playing "Overwatch" and "gift a cumulative of three (3) subscriptions of any tier to earn the reward." These subs cannot be gifted anonymously. After doing this, viewers will be given a code that they can redeem on their Battle.net account.
This promotion is a limited-time event that will begin on June 29 at 11:00 AM (PDT), and will end on July 20 at 11:00 AM (PDT). There are a total of 157 eligible Twitch streamers that "Overwatch" players can watch in order to redeem their code. These streamers include popular gamers such as xQc, JackFrags, and Asmongold, and even mainstream pop stars like T-Pain.
Upon unlocking the Legendary Medic skin for Brigitte in "Overwatch," players will be able to transfer it over to "Overwatch 2" when it releases.
