Vikings Season 5 Teaser Trailers And Artwork Revealed

Who will rise in the fifth season of Vikings? We've got some contenders.

History released four new teasers for the upcoming season of the period series from creator Michael Hirst, and while they're brief, they each hint at the war to come. 

We get glimpses of Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig), Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick), and Ivar the Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen), each of whom could make a play to rule the world after the shocking derath of Ragnar Lothbrok last season. The upcoming 20-episode season will begin with Ivar demonstrating his leadership over the Great Heathen Army as Lagertha reigns as Queen of Kattegat and Bjorn chases destiny into the Mediterranean Sea. 

Jonathan Rhys Meyers will join the cast as Bishop Heahmund, a warrior who passionately stands up for both his faith and his king. 

History already renewed the show for a sixth season, but season 5 will premiere Nov. 29. The first 10 episodes will arrive this year while the final 10 will arrive in 2018. Meanwhile, History also revealed new key art for season 5, and you can check it out below.
