How Long Does It Take To Beat Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes?

"Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes" is a title that should excite fans of the last few years' worth of "Fire Emblem" titles. Acting as a follow-up to both "Fire Emblem Warriors" and "Fire Emblem: Three Houses," this musou-style hack and slash RPG is packed full of characters you love engaging in over the top combat.

The game launches June 24, 2022, and players who are interested in diving into this new story will probably want to know how long they can expect to spend with it. After all, Byleth's story in "Fire Emblem: Three Houses" took quite a bit of time to beat, especially if players took the time to play through all three scenarios provided by each house. That game's various difficulty settings also added on a good bit of playtime, so it would stand to reason that "Three Hopes" would follow suit.

Players who enjoyed the lengthy campaign of "Three Houses" are in luck, because "Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes" is a hefty experience. Here's how long it could take you to clear it in its entirety.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes offers three long playthroughs

"Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes" mirrors its predecessor in that it offers multiple storylines for whichever House the protagonist, Shez, sides with. And according to reviews from outlets such as Digital Trends and The Washington Post, a single playthrough can take upwards of 40 hours or more. If you're planning to see each House's storyline to the end, then you're looking at investing well over 100 hours in "Three Hopes."

These alternate scenarios aren't just the same storyline with a different coat of paint and set of faces, either. As noted by The Washington Post's Shannon Liao, "[the game] gets easier and more satisfying the more hours that you've invested, and some storylines are more interesting than others." In other words, players who battle their way through each House's storyline will undoubtedly walk away with a favorite House.

Even though the new title doesn't quite reach the wild 200+ hour runtime of "Three Houses," "Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes" sounds like a worthy successor to the beloved RPG, and well worth the time fans are going to invest in it.
