Geostorm Trailer Is A Marathon Of Unnatural Disasters
You've seen the world end by tidal wave. You've seen planes crash, buildings fall, the world catch fire and freeze over. So how would you like to see all of that happen at once?
Geostorm, Warner Brothers' new weather disaster movie to end all weather disaster movies, follows the chaos that occurs when someone or something stages a hostile takeover of a system meant to control global weather for humanity's benefit, and begins using it to sow worldwide destruction instead.
The trailer has tidal waves freezing in motion, people freezing in motion, a city collapsing like dominoes, the best "oh, this plane is screwed" scene since Flight, and Andy Garcia as the president who has to fend it all off.
Geostorm stars Gerard Butler, Abbie Cornish, Ed Harris, Zazie Beetz, Jim Sturgess, Mare Winningham, Andy Garcia and Jeremy Ray Taylor. It is directed by Dean Devlin, who previously produced Independence Day, Independence Day: Resurgence, and the 1998 Godzilla.
No matter what, you can't accuse this trailer of false advertising. The weatherocalypse begins on October 20.
