Comic All-Stars Share The Stage In Def Comedy Jam 25 Trailer

First you rebel against the institution, and then you take the institution over. 

At least, that's what it looks like scoping out the lineup for Def Comedy Jam 25, the 25th anniversary special commemorating the groundbreaking 90s HBO comedy series. 

From scrappy upstarts to heavy-hitters, the new special on Netflix features the likes of Dave Chappelle, Tracy Morgan, Martin Lawrence, Steve Harvey, Bill Bellamy, Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, Craig Robinson, JB Smoove, Mike Epps, Tiffany Haddish, D.L. Hughley, Katt Williams, Kid Capri and Adele Givens. Madness!

"When have you ever seen this many heavy-hitters at the same time?" Steve Harvey asks on stage in the new trailer for the show. 

Overall, it looks like a fittingly supersized tribute to the career-launching comedy platform launched by Russell Simmons. If only Bernie Mac were still around to remind us how much he ain't scared.
