Who Plays Annie On Blue Bloods?

The Reagan family has proven themselves adept at protecting the streets of New York time and time again on "Blue Bloods." They each have a role to play in the safety of the city, whether that involves taking to the streets to chase down criminals or remaining holed up in an office to review cases. Each Reagan family member has taken it upon themselves to make New York City a better place, but no person can be an island.

Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Jamie (Will Estes) have the entire force of the NYPD behind their backs, ready to lend a helping hand when needed. The same goes for Frank (Tom Selleck), and while his decisions may not always be popular, his fellow officers will be there looking out for him. And while Erin (Bridget Moynahan) is undoubtedly a capable assistant district attorney, she still requires assistance from time to time. While that usually comes in the form of Anthony Abetemarco (Steve Schirripa), she has someone else in her office from time to time to help her out, too, and that's Annie, as played by Fortuna Gebresellasie.

Fortuna Gebresellasie has several other TV credits to her name

Annie plays an invaluable role in Erin's office, first appearing in the Season 9 episode, "Past Tense." She'd go on to pop up periodically throughout the next few seasons, last being seen on Season 12's "Protective Instincts" to wish Erin a happy birthday despite the fact it wasn't actually her birthday. However, 10 episodes of "Blue Bloods" is not the only place where you've likely seen this actress before.

She's had a number of one-off roles in a variety of other TV shows, including "Manifest," "The Deuce," and "Hightown." 2021 proved to be a standout year for the young performer. In addition to popping up in "Blue Bloods," she also had a role in an episode of "Harlem." And 2022 might be even better. According to IMDb, she's presently in the midst of filming a couple of projects coming down the pipeline, such as "Why, Mona Rae?" and "I Am Here to End You." She's even expanding her horizons by being credited as a co-producer and production designer for "I Am Here to End You."

Fortuna Gebresellasie already has an impressive resume under her belt. Her role as Annie on "Blue Bloods" is by far her most recognizable role to date, but it certainly won't be the last time audiences will find her on their screens.
