Noomi Rapace And Orlando Bloom Fight Terrorists In Unlocked Trailer

Noomi Rapace is going back to her butt-kicking roots.

After struggling with androids and Engineers in Prometheus (and appearing in the sequel Alien: Covenant), the lead of the original Girl With the Dragon Tattoo movies is back with an action-packed, star-studded thriller.

Lionsgate released a trailer for Unlocked, which puts Rapace in the spotlight again as Alice Racine, a CIA agent who is forced to live in London as a caseworker. When her mentor (Michael Douglas) calls her back into action to prevent an imminent terrorist attack, Alice "unlocks" a suspect and learns that the classified information she's uncovered has been compromised. As she runs for her life, she turns to an ex-soldier (Orlando Bloom) to help her stop a deadly biological attack on London.

Directed by Michael Apted (The World Is Not Enough, Chasing Mavericks), the film co-stars Oscar nominees John Malkovich and Toni Collette.

Unlocked will arrive in theaters on Sept. 1. Until then, take a look at other movies that will blow everyone away this year.
