How To Obtain All Three Starters In Pokemon Legends: Arceus

"Pokémon Legends: Arceus" is here, and the franchise's first open-world title is already proving to be a massive success even ahead of its highly anticipated launch. With rave critic reviews, those who have gotten their hands on the game so far are welcomingly embracing the new direction "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" is taking the series. Gamers already know to expect dozens if not hundreds of hours of gameplay in the new title, and that journey kicks off with selecting a starter Pokémon.

Like every major "Pokémon" title before it, "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" features three starter Pokémon for trainers to choose from, all of which can progress through three evolutions to get stronger. What's different in the latest title is that the starter Pokémon all come from past Pokémon games, though they do have an updated design since they're from the Hisui region. Naturally, players are curious if they'll be able to add Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott to their Pokédex. All signs point to yes, but snagging all three starters in "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" might take some patience and persistence.

Multiple Possibilities for Catching All Pokémon Legends Arceus Starters

If "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" follows the pattern set by previous games in the series, getting all three starters in "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" will require some luck. Finding starter Pokémon in the wild in past games has always been possible, but starters are much less likely to spawn than their more common counterparts. It's likely "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" will follow suit, but given how many changes this game is making to the series, nothing's certain.

In addition to the potential possibility of catching starters in the wild despite the slim odds, players can likely trade for starters as they have in past games. Along with the old methods for catching all the starters that should appear in "Pokémon Legends: Arceus," an unconfirmed leak teased a new opportunity to catch Hisuian starters through "Space Time Distortion Events." Yet another rumor reveals the possibility of getting the two starters one didn't choose at the game's start through a post-game mission.

Of course, players who want all three "Pokémon Legends: Arceus" starters will likely want to evolve them, though this process seems to look different in the new title than it has in past games. What's most exciting is that the third evolution for each starter is allegedly a brand-new Hisuian design
