Fullmetal Alchemist Trailer Reveals More Characters
If you aren't a fan of Hollywood adaptations of Japanese manga, then the upcoming live-action Fullmetal Alchemist flick might be just what you're looking for. Of course, it'll only be released in Japan.
Warner Bros. released a new trailer that features English subtitles, and it offers our best look yet at the characters based on Hiromu Arakawa's manga.
For those unfamiliar, the story follows two brothers in the landscape of a European Industrial Revolution where alchemy is one of the most advanced scientific techniques. But when they try to bring their deceased mother back to life, one brother Edward (Ryosuke Yamada) loses his arms and the other, Alphonse Elric, loses his body.
In addition to more footage of the brothers, the new trailer introduces the rogue Homunculi: Lust (Yasuko Matsuyuki), Envy (Kanata Hongo), and Gluttony (Shinji Uchiyama).
Fullmetal Alchemist hits theaters in Japan on Dec. 1, but we figure it's only a matter of time before there's a version streaming everywhere.
Until then, check out more anime you didn't know are getting live-action movies.
