Rick And Morty Season 3 Trailer Is Bonkers
It's finally happening. Rick is turning himself into a pickle. Oh, and Rick and Morty will definitely return to Adult Swim this summer.
During a livestream event, the team (Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon) confirmed that season 3 of the animated series will premiere on July 30. It'll be the first new batch of episodes since season 2 ended more than 18 long months ago. We also got a new trailer, which promises that this season will be the "darkest year" ever, and that's really saying something.
In addition to meeting Pickle Rick, we see the duo navigate a Mad Max-type apocalyptic wasteland, and battle more grotesque and bizarre monsters. The trailer also includes scenes from the already released "Rickshank Redemption" episode, so it's not exactly clear which episode will serve as the premiere.
According to Polygon, Harmon also said that they're already working on season 4, so let that countdown begin, too.
Watch the trailer above, then learn the untold truth of Rick and Morty.
