What's The Song In The New Spider-Man: Homecoming Trailer?

Underneath all the superpowers and the high-tech suit (thanks, Uncle Tony), Peter Parker is just a regular kid, and the latest trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming sounds a lot like his personal playlist.

It features two songs, and they both fit the modern and youthful tone of the flick to a tee. Not only that, but they legitimately sound like songs that Parker (Tom Holland) might actually listen to while swinging from the rooftops of Queens.

The first song in the trailer is "Act My Age" by Long Island rapper Hoodie Allen from his 2014 debut full-length, People Keep Talking. The lyrics would definitely speak to Parker: "Yo, they say the way I act is immature/Well don't be mad at me because you're feeling insecure...  It's all good, it's alright, it's okay/We can live however we want and there ain't nobody that can get in our way."

Considering that Parker is pretty bummed that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) won't give him an official membership in the Avengers just yet, "Act My Age" could very well be his anthem. Check out the video below (although the lyrics are definitely NSFW).

You're probably more familiar with the second song in the trailer, which kicks in around the 1:20 mark. It's "Confident," the title track from Demi Lovato's Grammy-nominated 2015 album. With the booming drumline percussion and galloping trumpet, it's the perfect track to pump up a millennial superhero. In fact, the video for the single (directed by Robert Rodriguez) portrays Lovato as a full-on action hero opposite Michelle Rodriguez. Watch it below.

Hopefully the full soundtrack to Spider-Man: Homecoming is as perfect as everything in the trailers. (Remember, the first trailer features MGMT's "Time to Pretend"). We'll find out for sure when the film hits theaters July 7. Until then, find out why Homecoming will be better than you think.
