Young Han Solo Set Pictures Show Alden Ehrenreich In Costume

Alden Ehrenreich is in costume in the first set photos from the upcoming young Han Solo Star Wars anthology film. While the set photos don't reveal much, they do give some early glimpses of the highly anticipated, very secretive film.

Not many plot details have been revealed for the young Han Solo film yet aside from the fact that it will star Ehrenreich as the younger version of the gunslinger Harrison Ford played in the original films and that it will follow the pre-A New Hope adventures of Han and Chewbacca  (Joonas Suotamo). Emilia Clarke will play the female lead, while Donald Glover will play a young Lando Calrissian and Woody Harrelson will play Han's criminal mentor. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Michael K. Williams, and Thandie Newton fill out the cast of the movie, which started filming on Feb. 20 at Pinewood Studios in London.

The set photos, some of which you can view below and the rest of which you can view in full over at TMZ, show Ehrenreich's Ford-esque haircut, along with one of the outfits he'll don as the character (another can be seen in the first cast photo from the film). They also give a glimpse at some of the vehicles Han and the other characters will be riding in the film, and show some of the film's other actors walking around set in full regalia.

The young Han Solo movie (which is still without an official title) isn't due out until May 25, 2018, so it will be a while before we start to hear really concrete details about the film. Still, with set photos beginning to pop up on the Internet, we can hopefully begin to decipher some more details about the film in the coming months. For now, though, read up on what we want to see when the movie premieres.
