Fans Of Never Have I Ever Just Got The News They've Been Waiting For

Hollywood is finally making strides toward diversity and a recent teen show that helps to showcase this evolving feat is Netflix's "Never Have I Ever," whose protagonist is an Indian-American high schooler.

Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, "Never Have I Ever" follows Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), a 15-year-old Indian-American Tamil girl, living in Sherman Oak, California with her mother Nalini (Poorna Jagannathan). Still grappling with the death of her father, Devi enters her sophomore year hoping to improve her social status within her high school. Other important players in Devi's life include her beautiful cousin Kamala (Richa Moorjani) and her two closest friends Eleanor (Ramona Young) and Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez). Devi also has a crush on high school junior Paxton (Darren Barnet) and even has her own nemesis in Ben (Jaren Lewison).

Since its premiere in April 2020, "Never Have I Ever" has been a hit, with a wide audience latching on to it and critics singing its praise — the show currently holds a 95% Tomatometer and a 88% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Naturally, the show received a second season, which premiered in July of 2021, to much of the same ultra positive reaction.

And now, fans of "Never Have I Ever" have just received amazing news to celebrate ...
