Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales trailer revealed

Captain Jack Sparrow is back, and this time, he's entangled a new generation of characters in his drunken misadventures.

Disney unveiled a new full-length trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and it provides our best look yet at the upcoming fifth installment in the franchise. We get to see Sparrow (Johnny Depp) as a young man (thanks to more of that time-erasing CGI business), and we also learn that he's got a complicated and very personal history with the movie's villainous ghost pirate hunter Armando Salazar (Javier Bardem).

But all of the promos for the flick, including this one, have shined a spotlight on the new supporting characters: Henry (Brenton Thwaites) and Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario). Although Orlando Bloom will reprise his role as Will Turner, all signs are pointing to a reinvention of the story, which seems fresh and new after the mildly underwhelming Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Dead Men Tell No Tales lands in theaters May 26. It's definitely one of the movies we can't wait to see this year.
