Watch A Teaser For David Fincher's Netflix Series Mindhunter
It's dark, a little disturbing, and it doesn't reveal much at first. Yep, this is definitely a teaser for a David Fincher project.
Netflix released the first look at Fincher's upcoming series Mindhunter, based on the 1996 book Mind Hunter: Inside FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit by John Douglas and Mark Olshanker. Douglas was one of the original FBI profilers, and he spent years interviewing notorious serial killers including Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, and Dennis Rader.
While the teaser only provides quick flashes of scenes and dialogue, the tone and ominous undertones look vintage Fincher. He'll direct episodes along with Asif Kapadia (Senna), Tobais Lindholm (A Hijacking), and Andrew Douglas (The Amityville Horror). Fincher will also executive produce alongside Charlize Theron and his Gone Girl collaborators Joshua Donen and Cean Chaffin.
The series stars Jonathan Groff (Looking), Holt McCallanay (Fight Club), Anna Torv (Fringe), and Hannah Gross (Unless). It'll arrive on Netflix in October.
