The Selling Sunset Star You Had No Idea Was A Playboy Bunny

"Selling Sunset" is known for its glamorous houses and gorgeous realtors. The Netflix reality show made its debut in 2019, and has already showcased three seasons of luxury California real estate listings and the power team behind the high-end sales. It's a winning formula, as evidenced by the fourth season already on the way.

Starring Christine Quinn, Chrishell Stause, Heather Rae Young, Mary Fitzgerald, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz, Amanza Smith and twin brokerage bosses Jason and Brett Oppenheim, the show was an instant hit on the streaming platform. Still, it's no surprise that the stars of the series had other careers before hitting it big on reality TV.

Quinn, for example, started out as a teen model at age 15 and has logged several acting roles on TV and in movies, according to the Wall Street Journal Magazine. Stause was a soap star who came to Netflix with a long résumé of roles on daytime dramas such as "All My Children," "Days of Our Lives," and "The Young and the Restless," per IMDb.

While the cast members with acting backgrounds aren't a huge surprise — this is "reality" TV after all –  one "Selling Sunset" star had a much more unexpected career.

Heather Rae Young was a Playboy Bunny before she became a reality star realtor

These days, Heather Rae Young may be known for closing real estate deals, but back in the day she could be found in the pages of Playboy. The 33-year-old blonde beauty was a Playboy Bunny.

She posed as Playmate of the Month in December 2010 and appeared in the magazine several more times over the years. In a recent interview with Playboy, she credited the experience with leading her to where she is today. "If I hadn't posed for Playboy, I wouldn't have met the people who led me to where I am now," she told the men's magazine. "Playboy got me used to being in front of crowds and being good on camera."

She recently told Access Hollywood that while she is grateful to Playboy, she wouldn't pose for the magazine again in the future because she now has two stepchildren. Young is engaged to "Flipping 101" star Tarek El Moussa, who has two kids from his first marriage to Christina Anstead Haack, according to People. "It's probably something I'm not okay with doing at this point in my life and I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to tell the kids I did Playboy."
