See The Teaser For Jason Momoa And Keanu Reeves' The Bad Batch

Jason Momoa is trading Atlantis for the desert in the upcoming apocalyptic thriller The Bad Batch, which released a teaser Tuesday.

Written and directed by A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night's Ana Lily Amirpour, The Bad Batch follows Suki Waterhouse as Arlen, a woman who is unceremoniously dumped in a Texas wasteland fenced off from civilized society.

"While trying to orient her unforgiving environment, she is captured by a savage band of cannibals and quickly realizes she'll have to fight her way through her new reality," reads the film's official synopsis, via ComingSoon.net. "As Arlen adjusts to life in 'the bad batch' she discovers that being good or bad mostly depends on who you're standing next to."

The action-packed teaser gives a good glimpse at Waterhouse and Momoa, who plays the cannibal Miami Man. It also highlights the mysterious The Dream, played by Keanu Reeves.

"The chaos of this world is vast and unknowable," teases the voiceover at the start of the teaser. "We like to think we can understand it, but we can't."

Giovanni Ribisi, Jim Carrey, Yolonda Ross, and Diego Luna also star. With a solid cast, a rocking score, and an interesting premise, The Bad Batch, set to be released on June 23, definitely looks like a must see. While we wait for the film to premiere, check out these other movies we are looking forward to this year.
