The Horror Movie Serial Killer That Fans Find Strangely Attractive
Every horror movie fan has to admit there has been at least one terrifying villain they've found attractive in some way. While the actions of horror villains are, of course, inexcusable, some people just can't help but overlook these flaws and still find them hot. This ended up being the case when one Reddit user asked other horror fans who they thought was the hottest horror movie killer of all time. While definitely a strange question, there were actually a handful of users that enthusiastically responded.
Although the OP brought up Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho (above) and (very strangely enough) the terrifying Sadako Yamamura from The Ring series, other actors and characters ended up beating out these suggestions. In fact, many Reddit users also supported these top choices as well. With so many horror movie serial killers out there, there was one male and one female that fans found their characters to be both scary, and objectively pretty sexy.
It's all about separating the actor and the killer
Based on the most upvoted comment in the Reddit thread, Skeet Ulrich as Billy Loomis in Scream (left) came out on top. In the film, Billy ends up being the serial killer Ghostface who terrorizes the town of Woodsboro. Although in the film's opening Billy plays the "innocent" boyfriend role of the film's protagonist, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), in a surprising twist, he reveals that he and his friend Stu Macher (Matthew Lillard) were plotting to kill her all along. In an exhilarating cat and mouse chase, Sidney winds up shooting Billy in the head, putting an end to him.
Alongside Ulrich, Megan Fox as Jennifer in Jennifer's Body was also upvoted as the hottest female serial killer in the Reddit thread. In this supernatural horror film (that Fox thinks would have been a success if not for its poor marketing), Fox plays the role of a high school student named Jennifer Check. In a ritual gone wrong, Jennifer becomes possessed by a succubus, a seductive demon that requires the flesh of males in order to sustain her form. Upon making this disturbing discovery about her, it's up to Jennifer's best friend, Anita Lesnicki (Amanda Seyfried), to put a stop to Jennifer's murder-spree.
While other horror movie serial killers were mentioned in the Reddit thread, Ulrich and Fox were indeed considered to be the most gorgeous of them all. Perhaps one day fans of these dangerously sexy villains could see them make a return in a new horror film.
