Overwatch's Roadhog To Get Nerfed

Overwatch's Roadhog is getting a nerf in an upcoming update that might leave him a little weaker.

Geoff Goodman, Principal Designer on Overwatch, posted to the official Overwatch forums about the update to Roadhog, explaining how the hero's Hook ability will be work going forward.

The tweaks to the ability will make it so that the hook victim will now be pulled directly in front of Roadhog, the hook won't be able hit targets that Roadhog can't see, and breaking line-of-sight will break the hook's connection to the victim. Goodman said, "Overall these changes will likely make Roadhog a bit weaker, but we'll evaluate his performance once we get people playing him and make adjustments as necessary."

The changes should go up on the PTR soon, perhaps even during this week, so look forward to the update and see if they make Roadhog a less fearsome foe. Your priority should be to avoid the big guy, but you should probably follow this advice to do well in the game as well.
