Is Bruce Campbell Going To Cameo In Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness?

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is expected to release March 25, 2022, and Sam Raimi will direct the sequel. If that isn't exciting enough for fans of Raimi, there is also talk that his frequent partner in crime, Bruce Campbell, might be making an appearance as well.

Now, the internet is known to claim a lot of things, so at this point, this is just hoping and wishing, but the fact that slapstick-funny Campbell might be in a Marvel movie? The stars have theoretically and literally aligned. It makes sense that Marvel and horror fans (or both!) might speculate that since Raimi is involved, Campbell might be along for the intergalactic ride, too, but as we know, the Marvel Universe likes to keep a tight lid on things. Superfans are incredibly skilled when piecing theoretical puzzles together, so this is what we have found on the internet about Campbell's involvement, so far.

What we (kind of) know

Bruce Campbell is often most recognized for his role as Ash in The Evil Dead trilogy, which Raimi wrote and directed. Throughout the years, Campbell has also made frequent cameos in Raimi's movies, such as Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, and Spider-Man 3, so that could be an indicator that he could be involved, even for another cameo. Campbell also hinted at involvement in this tweet and this one, but again, he could just be trolling, based on the theories he's seen.

So far, there is very little we know about the plot of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, aside from speculation based on the comics. We don't know which new additions will be involved, and how, but it's nice to dream about a Raimi/Campbell collab. For now, it's good to know that our favorites such as Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), Dr. Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams), Wong (Benedict Wong), Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), and of course, the Sorcerer Supreme himself (Benedict Cumberbatch) will be back for more action.
