Genshin Impact: How To Get The Five-Star Claymore, The Unforged
Genshin Impact has been turning heads since it was released on September 28, 2020. The game has seen much success since its release and is only getting better with time.
Genshin Impact's patch 1.1 introduced a ton of new content for players to keep themselves entertained with. The patch was ushered in with new and updated systems, new quests, new characters, and, most importantly, new weapons. The Vortex Vanquisher and The Unforged will be some of the hottest weapons available in the game.
The Unforged is the game's newest five-star claymore. This weapon is an obvious go-to for claymore users like Beidou, Noelle, and specifically Xinyan. The stats for the weapon are undeniably strong — especially when paired with a strong DPS character like Xinyan. The passive synergizes extremely well with any character that is able to utilize it. Xinyan's Sweeping Favor allows her to utilize her Pyro shield — her damage output will ultimately be amplified by the passive.
How to obtain it
If you want The Unforged, prepare to put your credit card where your mouth is. The weapons, The Unforged and Vortex Vanquisher, are currently only available through the Epitome Invocation banner. So players will have to roll and hope that they get extremely lucky. Unfortunately, the drop rate for five-star weapons is abysmal. Players have a 0.6-percent chance at obtaining a five-star weapon through a single roll.
Genshin Impact players can look to take advantage of the five-star guarantee. In any given banner, players will be guaranteed one five-star pull after a whopping total of 90 pulls. Guaranteed pulls can become quite costly. It should also be mentioned that weapons can only be refined by sacrificing an identical weapon. Still, there is a high chance that many players will be sporting The Unforged at rank one, despite it having some of the best available stats in the game.
