Here's How To Find Hideo Kojima In Cyberpunk 2077

Hideo Kojima, the creative (and predictive) mind behind the Metal Gear Solid series and Death Stranding, managed to make his way into Cyberpunk 2077's Night City. This cameo is very brief and only turns up during a specific mission called "The Heist." Players who manage to find the famed creator in the game will be met by a hilarious barrage of pretentiousness from Kojima.

It should be noted that this person isn't exactly Kojima. This character is named Oshima, and he has the same physical attributes as Kojima, as well as the same fashion style. Additionally, both characters have a passion for thinking deeply and creatively about the human condition. So if you're looking to experience the closest thing to a conversation with Kojima, meeting Oshima in Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be your best bet.

But be warned, Oshima definitely has a bit of a knack for talking about himself, a lot.

Where to meet "Kojima"

You can meet Oshima very early on in Cyberpunk 2077. During the introduction to the mission "The Heist," you will be taken to visit Konpeki Plaza. Jackie, who serves as your companion, will urge you to check into a hotel room, but you don't have to do this immediately. Instead, you can explore the hotel a bit, which will allow you to encounter Oshima.

If you go to the lobby of the hotel and head towards the back of the building, you will find the hotel's restaurant and bar. If you go further to the back of the room, you will find a booth with Oshima sitting inside it, surrounded by a couple of guests. During this encounter, Oshima will be wearing glasses and a motorcycle jacket, which Kojima is known to wear on occasion.

When the player talks to Oshima, they will mention that they have a research team in Tokyo that's studying human emotion. Additionally they will also casually brag about throwing a massive party on their private yacht, and he may even ask if you enjoy "his work." It would be difficult to expect anything less from this video game genius.
