Resident Evil: The Final Chapter Motion Poster Revealed
The end of the Resident Evil movie franchise will go down where it all began.
According to the official synopsis, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will see Alice (Milla Jovovich) return to Raccoon City for one last stand against mutants and the undead, and Sony released a new motion poster that promises it will be the end of her story. Check it out below.
According to the official synopsis (via Comicbook.com), the sixth film in the franchise picks up immediately after the events of 2012's Resident Evil: Retribution, and Alice must return to where the Umbrella Corporation is "gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse."

Director Paul W.S. Anderson wrote the script, just as he did for the previous five installments. A few months back, he told Movieweb that it was important to him to bring a satisfying conclusion to the series, and that began with Retribution. "In terms of returning characters and themes, I do see this movie coming full circle," he said. "That's why you saw the return of the Red Queen, and Michelle Rodriguez's character [in Retribution]. It is preparing you for a return to the hive, and a return to the scene of the first film."
The Final Chapter also stars Ruby Rose, Ali Larter, and Game of Thrones' Iain Glen. The end begins when the movie drops Jan. 27, 2017.
