Underworld: Blood Wars Official Trailer Released

Dig out your pleather: the fifth installment of the Underworld series will soon be upon us.

Kate Beckinsale will reprise her role as "death dealer" Selene in Underworld: Blood Wars, and she's all over the first official trailer. Watch it above.

The movie follows the events of 2012's Underworld: Awakening, and the official synopsis (via SlashFilm) tells us Selene will fend off "brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her." She must end the war, "even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice."

Game of Thrones fans will spot a few familiar faces in the trailer. Charles Dance (who plays Tywin Lannister on GoT), Tobias Menzies (Edmure Tully), and James Faulkner (Randyll Tarly) all have roles in Blood Wars. They'll be joined by Divergent's Theo James, who previously showed up in Underworld: Awakening.

Look for Underworld: Blood Wars in theaters Jan. 6, 2017.
