The Flash: First Official Photos Tease Season 3

The CW has unveiled the first official look at the upcoming third season of The Flash, and the new photos say a lot about the storyline to come. Check them out below via Entertainment Weekly.

Spoilers for The Flash Season 2

The photos show Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) with his happy parents, Henry (John Wesley Shipp) and Nora (Michelle Harrison), after he traveled back in time and saved his mom from being murdered at the hands of the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher).

SuperHeroHype points out that the title of the season premiere is "Flashpoint," and ComicBook.com notes that the photos of the captured Reverse-Flash indicate the story will likely stick close to the Flashpoint timeline from the comics.

We also get another glimpse of Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) in his Kid Flash costume, and a few photos of Barry with Iris (Candice Patton).

The Flash Season 3 premieres Oct. 4 on the CW.
