Marvel's NYCC 2026 Television And Animation Panel: Every Major Reveal (Live Updates)
Marvel Television and Marvel Animation take to the Empire Stage at New York Comic Con in the midst of a strong run. "VisionQuest" is coming just around the corner on October 14, "Daredevil: Born Again" Season 3 is on the way for an intended 2027 release date, and new seasons are in the works for the animated shows "X-Men '97," "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man," and "Marvel Zombies."
Of course, those are just the ones we know about. If there were ever a place for Marvel to give a glimpse into the future, it's Comic Con. Last year's NYCC panel gave fans early details on "VisionQuest," and with "Avengers: Doomsday" fast approaching, it's a natural time to tease what's next.
This year's Marvel Television and Marvel Animation panel begins at 4:15 p.m. ET and runs until 5:45, promising unnamed "special guests." Looper's Rick Stevenson will be reporting live from the Empire Stage, starting an hour before the official kickoff, so check back then to follow along.

Welcome to Looper's coverage of the 2026 NYCC Marvel Television and Animation panel! If you're looking for Daredevil, or that friendly neighborhood spider-guy, you're in the right place. If you're looking for the One Piece, I'm afraid we can't help you.
The panel starts at 4:15, but feel free to hang around with us here until then!

"VisionQuest," just a week away on Disney+, seems a likely headliner today. Other confirmed 2027 series include new seasons for Your "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" and "Daredevil: Born Again," but with an hour and a half marked out for the event, there could be plenty more surprises.
-
Now, we wait, accompanied by a lovely view of the Hudson River — a body of water that doesn't get enough love in a franchise packed with NYC superheroes. When are we getting Count Nefaria's Palisades fortress in the MCU? Fingers crossed it's today...
-
Is that you out there, Nefaria?
-
The Empire Stage at NYCC is sponsored by Raising Cane's. If Bojangles, the superior chicken chain, would like to sponsor our live coverage, my DMs are open.
-
The cosplayers are out in force today, with Spider-Man clearly one of the most popular picks. I have seen enough web-heads to turn the pointing meme into a Möbius strip.
They live among us...
-
"X-Men '97" could be another big feature today, with two more seasons formally in the works but few details released so far.
-
The sun has now properly pulled a Gandalf and dipped into the West, coating us all in a light afternoon roast. Could this be why it's called Hell's Kitchen? More on this at 9.
-
I can only assume that every single one of these people is here for "Marvel Zombies."
-
15 minutes to showtime!
-
The cosplay never stops. We've got Jokers, we've got Jedi, we've got Pikachus out in force. Pikachus? Pikachuen? What is the plural of that little rascal?
-
It would be a shame not to get Charlie Cox out to Hell's Kitchen itself with the final season of "Daredevil: Born Again" on the horizon. I'm counting on it, and hopefully a glimpse at what's next on Disney+ now that this latest era of post-Netflix shows seems to be wrapping up.
-
Four minutes to tipoff and we are still being funneled in. Expect a slight delay in the actual panel start time.
-
And we begin!
-
A new show, "Zodiac," is coming! Details to come but a cool logo.

-
A mysterious figure announces, "We are the Brotherhood."
-
Looks cool!
-
Jeff Trammell is on stage now to talk about "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man."
-
Trammell teases "inky black goo from space" for Season 2.
-
Season 2 premieres on January 13, 2027.
-
Now some Spider-Man footage. Harry Osborn attending a gala, being interviewed by Eddie Brock.
-
Oh dear! It's a surprise Doc Ock attack! Not the canapés!
-
Enter Spider-Man!
-
[They fight]
-
Now a montage featuring Daredevil and...the Symbiote Suit!
-
Next up is Daredevil.
-
Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, and Finn Jones are here! Mike Colter couldn't make it last minute, they say.
-
The crowd boos that this is the last season, and Cox jokes that they'll need another revival campaign. Get tweeting!
-
Season 3 footage shows the other three Defenders together while Matt is in jail.
-
A shirtless, bandanna'd Matt brawling in prison draws raucous applause.
-
VisionQuest is next.

-
An addendum on those three Marvel Zombies specials:
• The Winter Soldier – 2027
• The Fist of Khonshu – 2028
• The Last Guardian – 2029
-
We are now watching the full first episode for "VisionQuest."
-
Emily Hampshire is also here, playing the AI E.D.I.T.H. on the show.
-
Seems like the show might be a decent recap on certain parts of the MCU story for those who've fallen off a bit between "Endgame" and "Doomsday," in addition to [SPOILERS].
-
Update by the way on that new "Zodiac" show: It's being described as a "global spy thriller" with supposed clues hiding in the logo. Mysterious!
-
This logo here, that is:
-
James Spader is just so charming, man.
-
A very twisty, stylish first episode! The audience here at the Empire Stage seems to agree.
-
And that's it! No special surprise after the episode, sadly. And with Zodiac having been previously rumored, the great MCU bombshell fails to arrive.
-
Some very cool stuff from Marvel Animation. "Spider-Man" and "X-Men" have been huge hits so far, and it's encouraging to see the studio keep pouring into that side of things.
-
That said, the lack of anything major in terms of true MCU TV seems in line with the rumors that Marvel Studios is deprioritizing Disney+ for central MCU storytelling.
-
The animated wing of things and more tonally isolated shows like "Daredevil: Born Again" seem the route for the future, though with "Daredevil" ending for a second time next year, that two seems somewhat in doubt.
If the animation really becomes the main Disney+ focus, there are certainly worse futures. Y'all see that X-Men? That X-Men is pretty good!
-
That'll do it for ol' Ricky. Thanks for hangin' with us!
