Star Wars: Rogue One Trailer Teaser Revealed
There's so much anticipation for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, even the trailers have teaser trailers.
Earlier this week, Lucasfilm announced that a long-awaited new trailer for the upcoming standalone Star Wars prequel will premiere Aug. 11 during NBC's Olympics coverage. And if that isn't enough to get your Wookiee roaring, the studio has unveiled a 15-second teaser for the trailer online. Watch it above.
Although brief, the clip offers glimpses at some of the central characters, including Jyn Erso (played by Felicity Jones), Chirrut Imwe (Donnie Yen) and Cassian Andor (Diego Luna). Perhaps most notable, however, is footage of K-2SO, the Imperial enforcer droid (voiced by Alan Tudyk) that the Rebels reprogram for their own purposes.
The teaser also shows off the new Rebel U-Wing fighter. Check out details of the vehicle via CinemaBlend.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story premieres Dec. 16.
