The newly released Doom Eternal has some secrets. These secrets are better than any Easter egg, more sought after than any achievement. Scattered throughout the game are cheat codes, contained inside floppy disks, that unlock abilities that will change the way you play the game. The Infinite Ammo cheat makes it so you never have to worry about reloading, and you have more than enough bullets for every enemy you encounter.
Where can you find such a cheat code? Nestled snugly in one of the most disgusting levels possible. You guessed it: the Super Gore Nest. As you may have surmised from its name, the Super Gore Nest is a super gory sprawl of pulsing, wet flesh and protruding bone. Not exactly a locale you want to linger in. But taking your time to find the Infinite Ammo cheat is well worth the psychological scarring.
Infinite Ammo cheat location
To find and unlock the Infinite Ammo cheat in Doom Eternal, you'll need to gather all the Gore Keys for the main gate. Once they're situated on the appropriate altar, take a moment to look around. By placing yourself opposite the altar, you should see a blue jump pad ahead and to the right. Below that is a bone-covered orifice of sorts. You'll want to jump and dash over to it, then melee your way through the bone and cartilage. Inside the glistening tunnel hidden there, you'll find the Infinite Ammo floppy disk.
Finishing off the Super Gore Nest
This is a cheat code that comes in handy late game, especially if paired with the BFG, a Doom Slayer's best friend. Don't bother utilizing the Infinite Ammo cheat on the demons that await you past the main gate of the Super Gore Nest. Once you have that level set to explode, you'll want to ignore the enemies and get out quickly. You only have 100 seconds, after all.
