The Final Suicide Squad Trailer Reveals Who's Really In Charge

Every superhero supergroup needs a Nick Fury to call the shots, and that apparently goes for super-villains, too.

Warner Bros. released the "official final trailer" for the upcoming movie adaptation of Suicide Squad, and instead of focusing on the misdeeds of Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), the Joker (Jared Let0) or Deadshot (Will Smith), the clip is centered around Amanda Waller – the squad's string-puller played by Oscar-nominated actress Viola Davis. It also features a look at "natural born leader" Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman). Check it out below.

Davis hasn't revealed much about her character, but she called Waller a "bad-ass" on Jimmy Kimmel Live. "Superman would quake in his tights," she said.

Angela Bassett played the character (very briefly) in Green Lantern (2011) and Cynthia Addai-Robinson portrays Waller on CW's Arrow.

David Ayers' Suicide Squad hits theaters Aug. 5.
