Jessica Jones Is Still Angry In New Season 2 Trailer
Listening to the tragic backstory of Jessica Jones would send a therapist to therapy.
Netflix revealed a new trailer for the second season of Marvel's Jessica Jones, and it catches us up with the hard-drinking and reluctant superhero (Krysten Ritter) after the events of the first season and last year's ensemble The Defenders. Spoiler: she's still working through some issues.
The trailer, which blends footage from season 1 with new scenes from season 2, begins with Jones in a group anger management session. It serves as a handy refresher course on everything Jones has been through: her entire family was killed in a car accident, she was the subject of horrific experiments, and she was abducted, raped, and forced to kill someone by Kilgrave (David Tennant).
You'd be irritable too. But it looks like Jones is finally ready to embrace her abilities and use them for good. The trailer also features an appearance by Luke Cage (Mike Colter), one of her new pals in the Defenders.
We'll see how it all shakes out when season 2 of Jessica Jones premieres March 8 on Netflix. Meanwhile, check out the first trailer.
