Get Out Will Return To Theaters For Free On Presidents' Day

If you didn't see Get Out when it was in theaters, now you have a chance to right that wrong.

Director Jordan Peele announced on Twitter that the Oscar-nominated flick will return to select theaters for free screenings on Presidents' Day, Feb. 19. The re-release commemorates the one-year anniversary of Get Out, which was released Feb. 24, 2017.

In the video (below), Peele said, "As a small thank you to the fans that made the film a success, Universal and I wanted to give something back."

Filmed on an extremely modest budget of $4.5 million, Get Out brought in $255 million worldwide and became a pop culture sensation, prompting important conversations about race. The film racked up four Academy Award nominations including nods for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay. Daniel Kaluuya is also up for Best Actor against the likes of Daniel Day-Lewis, Denzel Washington, and Gary Oldman.

Get Out will screen for free at 55 AMC Theatres locations around the country. Tickets will be first-come, first-served and can only be picked up in person at the theater box office on the day of the show. Find out where you can see it here.
