Darkness Is Coming In New A Wrinkle In Time Teaser

Darkness is coming in our newest look at Disney's upcoming sci-fi fantasy epic A Wrinkle in Time. The movie is based on the popular children's novel of the same name from Madeleine L'Engle.

A Wrinkle in Time follows Meg Murray (Storm Reid), who, along with her younger brother Charles Wallace (Deric McCabe) and friend Calvin O'Keefe (Levi Miller), goes searching for her missing father (Chris Pine), a scientist who disappeared while working on the mysterious tesseract. "Your father is lost in the universe," explains Oprah's Mrs. Which at the start of the new teaser. "Evil is near. Now, the only one who can find him is you."

The trailer is full of ominous warnings for Meg, who is able to see the danger that is quickly approaching thanks to a special gift from Mindy Kaling's Mrs. Who. "Be wary of being offered everything you want by those in a position to take everything you have," warns Mrs. Which. Reese Witherspoon's Mrs. Who also has some advice for Meg, telling her and Calvin to protect each other.

Ava DuVernay takes on directorial duties for the film, which is based off a script from Frozen's Jennifer Lee. Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Pena, Zach Galifanakis, Andre Holland, Rowan Blanchard, Bellamy Young, and Will McCormack also star. A Wrinkle in Time hits theaters on March 9.
