Just when he thought he was out, unthinkable and otherworldly horrors pull Ash Williams back in. Figures.

Starz released the first full trailer and poster for the third season of Ash vs Evil Dead, the series that continues the story that began with Sam Raimi's 1981 cult classic The Evil Dead.

In season 3, chainsaw-wielding antihero Ash (Bruce Campbell) has moved on from saving humanity to become a hometown hero in Elk Grove, Michigan. But he learns that he has a long-lost daughter (Arielle Carver-O'Neill), and soon finds out that evil hasn't finished with him yet. 

Lucy Lawless co-stars as Ruby, the occasional ally of Ash who has strong ties to the origin of the Necronomicon; Ray Santiago plays Pablo Simon Bolivar, Ash's loyal sidekick; and Dana DeLorenzo returns as Kelly Maxwell.

The Evil Dead filmmakers Raimi, Campbell, and Rob Tapert serve as executive producers along with Ivan Raimi and Rick Jacobson. Mark Verheiden (Falling Skies) serves as showrunner.

The third season of Ash vs Evil Dead premieres Feb. 25. Check out the poster below.
