Netflix Unleashes The End Of The F***ing World In NSFW Trailer

Brace yourself. Netflix is preparing to unleash The End of the F***ing World stateside, and you can watch the NSFW trailer for the black dramedy now.

The series follows James, a teen who thinks he may be a psychopath, and Alyssa, a young and brash rebel whom, according to the trailer, he wants to kill. As she grows closer to him romantically, he grows closer to pulling the trigger. 

Unfortunately, not everything works out as planned for the young creep-o, as the duo end up hitting it off and hitting the road as a pair of runaways, living like it's, well the end of the f***ing world. Stealing cars and covering up murders, they head off on a mission to find Alyssa's real father in a twisted spin on the classic road story.

TEOTFW is an adaptation of a 2013 graphic novel of the same name by Charles Forsman, which explored themes of alienation, sociopathy, young love and young rebellion, albeit in a bracing and unconventional way.

The show stars Alex Lawther of Black Mirror and The Imitation Game as James, and Jessica Barden of Penny Dreadful and Hanna as Alyssa. The adaptation wass written by Charlie Covell, and directed by Jonathan Entwistle and Lucy Tcherniak.

A British import, TEOTFW premiered on UK television a few months ago at the tail end of October, and is coming exclusively to Netflix for its international release. All 8 episodes of the series' first season hit Netflix on January 5.
