Luke Skywalker Raps In Bad Lip Reading Of The Empire Strikes Back
The Rebels aren't all business. Sometimes they just have to spit hot fire, even on the ice planet of Hoth.
There's a new Bad Lip Reading of The Empire Strikes Back, and it's all kinds of amazing. If you're unfamiliar with BLR, they take footage from movies, TV shows, and even political debates and spoof them with new dialogue.
The latest clip, "Hostiles on the Hill" (or "H.O.T.H."), is a music video set in the Star Wars galaxy, and this time Luke Skywalker breaks it down as the Rebels take out an AT-AT. Things really get going when Wedge Antilles comes into the picture.
It's definitely not the first time BLR has taken on Star Wars. There are other incredible music videos including "Seagulls! (Stop It Now)" which centers on Yoda; "Bushes of Love" which brings Obi-Wan Kenobi in the mix; and "Not the Future" which points out that although everything in Star Wars looks futuristic and vaguely familiar, it's actually set a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
There are also plenty of non-musical clips. One of the channel's most popular videos is a bad lip reading of The Force Awakens featuring Mark Hamill doing an uncanny impression of Harrison Ford. We can't recommend it enough.
Meanwhile, check out "Hostiles on the Hill." You'll need the Force to get it out of your head.
