Jes Macallan To Recur On Legends Of Tomorrow Season 3

Mistresses' Jes Macallan is joining the Time Bureau. Deadline reports that the actress is set to recur on season three of The CW's Legends of Tomorrow as Special Agent Ava Sharpe, a hard working agent for Rip Hunter's (Arthur Darvill) newly established secret government agency.

Sharpe is described as being very smart and incredibly ambitious, but her ruthlessness in maintaining perfection has left many broken friendships and relationships in her wake. Macallan is also known for her appearances in Red Band Society, Justified, Relationship Status, The Engagement Clause, and The Mentor.

Sharpe's spirit fits well with the Time Bureau, whose duty is to regulate time travel and protect history, something which causes them to butt heads with the Legends. While the team temporarily disbands after the group's formation, they wind up coming back together to challenge the Time Bureau's authority over the timeline.

Season three of Legends will see the returns of Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Damien Darkh (Neal McDonough), with both coming back into the fold in surprising ways. The season, which will introduce Billy Zane as the legendary P.T. Barnum, will also bring in new hero Zari Adrianna Tomaz (Tala Ashe), a "grey hat hactivist" from the year 2030 who joins the team as the superhero Isis.

Legends of Tomorrow returns for season three on Oct. 10 on The CW. Brandon Routh, Victor Garber, Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Franz Drameh, Nick Zano, Amy Pemberton, Matt Letscher, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers also star in the show, which comes from Greg Berlanti.
