New Kingsman: The Golden Circle Trailer Is All Action

The newest trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle is all about action. The glimpse at the spy flick quickly flips through quite a few of the film's stylish fight scenes, showing off a movie that looks fun, polished, and exciting.

The Golden Circle will follow the remaining members of the Kingsman who, after their headquarters is destroyed by the villainous Poppy (Julianne Moore), must travel to the United States to team up with their American counterparts the Statesman. Together, they must save the day from the villainous redhead, who has been described by director Matthew Vaughn as "America's sweetheart gone wrong."

The trailer begins with Eggsy (Taron Egerton) introducing himself to the Statesmen, saying that he is from the Kingsman Tailor Shop in London. "Maybe you've heard of us?" he asks cheekily, before the trailer begins to show off some of the exploits that may have gotten people talking, including the intense car chase scene shown in the film's first trailer.

The trailer then moves into Poppy's plot, which features drones flying some sort of serum towards New York City. While we don't get many more clues towards her overall goals, the ominous clip does feature her promising "the beginning of a new age" as she sends explosives towards the Kingsman's London offices, blowing them up and kicking off the events of the film.

"We've got a bit of a save the world situation here," Eggsy says, as he and Merlin (Mark Strong) begin to solidify the relationship with the Statesmen. While the teams will have to work side by side in order to defeat Poppy, it isn't all smooth sailing, as there is quite a bit of conflict between the two. "We've got brains, skills, skipping rope," Eggsy says, much to the chagrin of Agent Whiskey (Pedro Pascal), who insists that his frequently used weapon is actually a lasso.

The movie will clearly be pulling a lot from the conflict between the Americans and the British, with the Statesmen at one point unfurling a large parachute decked out with the American flag. "It's very American," Eggsy says in a subdued tone. "Yeah it is," laughs Channing Tatum's Agent Tequila. (You can watch a Red Band version of the trailer, in which Tatum says something a little more NSFW, below.) The trailer ends with Agent Whiskey uttering a phrase very familiar to Kingsman fans: "Manners maketh man."

Colin Firth, Halle Berry, Elton John, Sophie Cookson, Jeff Bridges, Michael Gambon, and Vinnie Jones also star in Kingsman: The Golden Circle, which was directed by Matthew Vaughn based on a script he co-wrote with his writing partner Jane Goldman. The film is due out on Sept. 22; while we wait, see all of the other films that will blow you away this year.
