Rick And Morty Get Reanimated In Trippy Season 3 Promo

If there was ever any doubt that Rick and Morty truly is art, this new promo should clear that right up.

Ahead of the long-awaited season 3 premiere of the show from Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, Adult Swim unveiled an extended teaser (above) that reimagines the titular heroes (can we call them that?) in a wide array of animation styles. It all starts out like a regular episode, with Morty mishandling a vial of what turns out to be pure LSD. But it sends the pair into a psychedelic journey through a multiverse that's as beautiful as it is grotesque. So, you know, it's just a day in the life for these guys.

Adult Swim also released a bunch of "non-canonical" claymation shorts that parody famous movie moments from 2001: A Space Odyssey to Poltergeist. Check them out below.
