Orphan Black Season 5 Trailer Promises Answers

Orphan Black's mysteries will be solved when the show returns for its fifth and final season this June. The newest trailer for the season promises answers while also bringing up new questions for fans to ponder as they wait for the twisty sci-fi show to return.

The trailer teases that it will be a fight to the finish for Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) and her sisters as they try to discover "the man behind the curtain," who has recruited Rachel to help carry out his nefarious plans, which appear to include, much to Sarah's distress, kidnapping Kira (Skyler Wexler). "It's a new day, Sarah," Rachel says to her sister, who we later see imprisoned by Ferdinand (James Frain).

Elsewhere, Alison is also in trouble, as she's shown being kidnapped in the woods, while mysterious visitors show up on the doorstep of her husband Donnie (Kristian Bruun). Art (Kevin Hanchard) is also not doing so hot, as someone has a gun to his head asking where Helena is. She's too busy to save him, though, as she's trying to figure out what's wrong with her babies. Cosima is yet another clone not having a good time of it, as she just wants to leave with her sisters. Season three break-out clone Krystal, meanwhile, is getting closer and closer to the show's central conspiracy, as she puts on a dress and heads out to "get down to the truth."

Aside from the many, many Maslanys, Orphan Black also stars Jordan Gavaris, Maria Doyle Kenedy, Evelyne Brochu, and Josh Vokey. Season five premieres at 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 10; for now, you can catch up on old seasons (and lots of other great recently added TV shows and movies) on Amazon Prime.
