Uma Thurman Joins Matt Dillon In Lars Von Trier's Serial Killer Thriller

Uma Thurman will reunite with Nymphomaniac director Lars von Trier for an upcoming serial killer thriller. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Kill Bill actress has signed on for von Trier's The House That Jack Built, which will star Matt Dillon. Siobhan Fallon Hogan (Dogville, Men in Black) also joins the cast of the movie, which is currently filming in Sweden.

The House That Jack Built is set in the 1970s and follows Dillon's Jack through the five murders that define his development as a serial killer. Despite the fact that police pressure is closing in, Jack is determined to take greater and greater chances with the killings, which he views as artwork. Thurman and Hogan will play two of the women he encounters.

"With these two fantastic actresses, the main cast is now in place, and we are ready to shoot- and kill," said producer Louise Vesth, noting that Thurman and von Trier "complemented each other in an exceptional way" while working on Nymphomaniac. "I can't wait to see which character they'll create together this time," she said.

"Lars has had Siobhan in mind from a very early stage for one of the female parts, and it is an honor for us to welcome her back on set since her appearance in Dogville and Dancer in the Dark," Vesth added.

Riley Keough, Sofie Grabol, and Bruno Ganz also star in the movie, which does not have a release date yet. For now, see why Uma Thurman doesn't get many movie offers anymore.
