Logan Trailer Has Lots Of Blood, Heart, And X-23

The second trailer for Logan has arrived, and it might be a more accurate depiction of the movie than the atmospheric (but amazing) first one.

It features a lot more dialogue from Hugh Jackman in his final turn as Wolverine, and reveals much more of Laura (Dafne Keen), the young mutant otherwise known as X-23.

In one scene, Laura is reading an old X-Men comic book, prompting Logan to scoff and tell her, "This is the real world. People die." But it should also serve as a note to audiences that the R-rated Logan will be bloodier and based in more realism than previous X-Men flicks.

Inspired by the Old Man Logan comic book storyline, the movie finds Wolverine older, beaten down, and uncertain about his place in the world. But when he and Professor X (Patrick Stewart) encounter Laura, they find a new reason to fight one last battle.

Directed by James Mangold (Walk the Line, The Wolverine), the film co-stars Boyd Holbrook as Donald Pierce, Stephen Merchant as Caliban, and Richard E. Grant as Dr. Zander Rice.

Logan arrives in theaters March 3. While we wait, check out the untold truth of Wolverine.
