Lex Luthor will return for Justice League
Justice League will bring together all of the superheroes in the DCEU, and now we know it'll feature one of its biggest villains, too.
According to a Warner Bros. press release (via Heroic Hollywood), Jesse Eisenberg will be back as Lex Luthor after his debut as the character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Of course, it makes sense that Luthor would show up again. He's responsible for bringing Justice League's big baddie Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds) to Earth.
Meanwhile, the press release also confirms that Wonder Woman's mother Hippolyta (Connie Nielson) will also appear in the movie. We'll first meet her when Wonder Woman hits theaters June 2, 2017.
The rest of the Justice League cast includes Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as the Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
Justice League arrives Nov. 17, 2017. Check out everything we know about it.
