Logan International Trailer Is Definitely For Mature Audiences

Logan is set to be Marvel's first R-rated movie since Deadpool and although the first domestic trailer hints at the violent content, the international trailer offers a more gruesome look.

It's mostly the same as the U.S. trailer, but it contains a few scenes that were apparently too graphic for the stateside version. The most notable moment comes at the 1:27 mark when Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) gives one bad guy a close-up look at his adamantium claws. (It doesn't turn out well for the bad guy.)

Although the movie's official rating hasn't been announced yet, producer Simon Kinberg told Collider that it will likely be rated R. "It's a very radical, bold, different Wolverine than you've ever seen in any of these movies," he said. "It is an R-rated movie. It's violent, it's kind of like a western in its tone. It's just a very cool, different film."

Logan hits theaters March 3, 2017. Get to know the villain Donald Pierce (Boyd Holbrook) and find out why the little girl in the trailer will probably turn out to be X-23.
